The Restaurant

The Antico Caffè del Moro is one of the oldest bars in Rome, located in the heart of Trastevere,
nestled between two of the most beautiful and ancient streets of Trastevere in a magical corner of ancient medieval memory.
It is renowned for the quality of its culinary proposal and the elegance of its structure.
The restaurant has been totally renovated from a building of the '600 in order to preserve and even enhance the romantic and welcoming atmosphere that has always distinguished it.
The Wine bar
The sign placed above the restaurant, donated by the Branca Brothers at the beginning of the last century, is made of iron worked by hand and painted with enamel paint, it is the second oldest in Rome. It shows two gunners and a sailor offering a glass of liquor to native girls. It dates back to the end of the nineteenth century in reference to the war of Abyssinia (1896).
